Use of Technology in Physical Education

With this short week of class the students participated in activity centers during physical education. One of the centers the students really enjoyed was a throwing center where they had a chance to throw at moving objects projected onto the wall. Here is a short video showing some of the students in action.

Challenge Week #2

The challenge this week was Beach Crossing. In this challenge the students had to cross a beach of burning sand carrying a boat to reach shark infested waters. The boat could not touch the sand (floor) nor could any person. Each team member had one lily pad that could touch the sand. Only one person could stand on a lily pad at a time. If anyone or the boat touched the sand then the whole group needed to start over.
The ultimate goal was to get all team members on the boat in the water.
